It seems that researchers at the UK’s University of Surrey’s 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) achieved – under laboratory conditions – the record-breaking 5G speed, which is over 65,000 times faster than current real-world 4G LTE. This has the same capacity as fiber optics but the researchers are doing it wirelessly.
